We are a youth-led initiative within the Romanian Excellence Center for Economics (RECE). Our mission is to open up top-tier resources, courses, and the most prestigious student economics competitions to high-schoolers across the country. I’m Bogdan Miheț, a 17-year-old from Bucharest with a profound interest in business and economics. From the outset of high school, I have pursued substantive involvement both academically and beyond the classroom, determined to cultivate as comprehensive a profile as possible. Recently, I have served as a member of the National Students’ Council, representing Romania at international seminars convened by the Council of Europe and not only; as president of my school’s business club; and as the founder of a podcast designed to inspire young people through compelling success stories. In 2025, my commitment to the field crystallized when I earned a Gold Award at the International Business Olympiad and a Bronze Award at the World Economics Cup. To broaden access to international competitions for students of all backgrounds, I established the youth arm of the Romanian Excellence Center for Economics—RECE 4 YOUth—whose aim is to build a nationwide network of ambassadors and, in doing so, elevate Romania’s performance on the global stage. Accordingly, I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Coordinator of RECE 4 YOUth and am particularly keen to meet each of you individually.

My name is Ioana-Lucia DObreanu, I am 17 years old, and currently enrolled as a junior in high school. I have developed a profound interest in economics, with particular emphasis on its political dimensions. My engagement with this field began through competitive debate, an endeavor that not only introduced me to economic thought but also inspired me to pursue it at a more advanced level in collaboration with the RECE team. I am deeply honored to serve as the Deputy Coordinator of RECE 4 YOUth, as I strongly endorse the principles of sustainable and equitable education, that equips students with the tools to expand their intellectual horizons and the confidence to aspire beyond conventional boundaries.
